Master of Laws: An Overview

A Master of Laws is a post–graduate degree for law graduates and practicing lawyers who want to specialize in a specific area of law, such as employment or environmental law and tax. Students will select the module or area of study they wish to pursue and complete a dissertation during the learning period. Courses typically last one year full-time and 24 months part-time.
