Overview

Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) fosters one of the most progressive learning environments in Ireland, attracting a diverse student body of more than 4,000 students from Ireland and 31 countries across the globe. LYIT offers a number of courses ranging from Business, Engineering, Computers and Science to Medicine.

The non-profit public institute has partnerships with over 60 universities world over and offers courses ranging from undergraduate and postgraduate to doctoral level. The Letterkenny campus is the main one with another campus in Killybegs, Ireland’s prime seaport. The modern campuses provide academic learning along with practical experiences, focused on increasing the economic prospects of the youth.

Location

LYIT’s two campuses are based in County Donegal, with one in Letterkenny, the commercial hub of the county, and the other in Killybegs, a picturesque town and Ireland’s prime sea port.
