CATS Colleges
Overview
CATS Colleges specialise in teaching international students from the ages of 14 to 18, focusing on university preparation through A-Levels, foundation programmes and the international baccalaureate. It was founded in 1952 and has since developed into a prestigious institution with a very high rate of offers to both Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.
Students begin with an initial counselling session to help you choose from the options on offer and ensure that your choices will allow you to fulfill your ambitions. Parents receive a ‘settling in’ report within a students first week of term and further reports throughout your time at CATS College. Students are also tested weekly to ensure that they are making the progress they need, and so that extra tuition can be arranged where necessary.

Services for International Students
Upon arrival, all students take part in an induction programme to show them round the college and introduce them to staff and other students. During term time, students are allocated a personal tutor to provide regular feedback on progress. In addition, Student Services and the Welfare Team deal with non-academic issues such as happiness, visas and health.

Accommodation
College accommodation is available for all age ranges. In total there are over 30 different residences close to the college, with single, en suite and shared options available. Also popular is the option of a homestay with a local family close to the college, providing greater immersion in both the language and the culture.
Location
Canterbury is a historical UK city home to three universities and a varied and exciting history. The city enjoys some of the best weather in the country and is dominated by its stunning cathedral and medieval architecture. It is just 90 minutes from London via train, while France is a short trip away via Ferry.
